Shetland Music Information Centre

Welcome to what will hopefully become the comprehensive point of contact and database for all things relevant to Shetland music.

Here you will find contact information for the artists represented elsewhere on this site and, eventually, discography's, photos, audio tracks etc

In addition you will find information on many musical support services such as tutors, photographers, venues, production personnel, equipment hire, music shops, instruments makers and repairers etc etc - literally you name it we will publicise it.

Bear with us as we build this up. But it's not all down to us - you have a crucial role to play in this too. Please ensure we have ALL the information we need to make this an effective service. That means not only initially supplying us with all your details, but also ensuring they are kept up to date.

Given that communication and information is everything in terms of setting up and developing a successful 'business' this could be a very important tool in the further effective development of a local music 'industry'. But it's only as good as the info we have to hand, so again please help us to build up as full a picture of Shetland music and its support services as is possible.

Contact Us if you would like us to add information about you, your band or your musical service to the databases.

Cheers!
