Description

One of the brightest hopes on the current Shetland music scene, Gemma has won a host of high profile fiddle competitions both in and outwith Shetland, including the Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year in 2003, its youngest ever winner at 13 years old.

Her most recent triumph was in the 'Glenfiddich Fiddle Championships' at Blair Atholl, Scotland's premier fiddle competition, which she won at the her very first attempt - the first person to do so in the 17 year history of the event.
