Shetland Arts is committed to supporting all music related work currently undertaken in Shetland schools, with a view to 'adding value' to that process and extending the boundaries of pupils musical knowledge and imagination. This programme includes:

  • Music workshops, both in and outwith the school environment, featuring local and visiting artists in conjunction with the Shetland Schools Service
  • Support for, and direct input to, the existing vocational pathway course in audio engineering
  • Offer work experience placements
  • Support for out of schools clubs and groups.
