Fullsceilidh Spelemannslag

Fullsceilidh Spelemannslag formed in 2005. The band members are some of Shetland's top traditional musicians playing a range of music from Traditional Shetland, Nordic and Celtic influenced folk music, hence the band name.

The bands popularity in Shetland shows as they have played at the Shetland Folk Festival, The Flavour of Shetland Event, Fetlar Foy and various regattas as well as sprees throughout the Islands. In 2008 the band sailed across the North Sea on the Swan LK 243 to Norway to perform at the Måløy Tall Ships Race Event.

Fullsceilidh Spelemannslag normally tour or play with about 8 or 9 musicians but on occasion a smaller 'flying squad' version of the band have played in Denmark, Norway, Belgium and the North of Scotland, this depends on the type of event.
