Album Review - Swingin Fiddles

'Wir Waanderins' is a pretty appropriate title for the new album from young Shetland Fiddle Band 'Swingin' Fiddles', given the quite incredible amount of travelling and touring they have already undertaken as a group to date, especially given their still tender years.

UK, Ireland, Norway, America and Canada are just a few of the countries visited and you can rest assured there will be more to come.

And the content of the album very much matches the title in that it features music not only from their own home shores but also tunes that they have picked up along the way so to speak.

The result is not only a rich mix of styles and music but also an incredibly high quality one for a band still very much in their teens.
