The Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival 2007 has been crowned "an excellent festival" by Chairman Peter Leask and, perhaps even more importantly, by most of those who attended the long weekend event. As always the festival was graced by traditional musicians from many far flung corners outside Shetland, in addition to many of the finest trad musicians the islands themselves have to offer. Shetland's current Young Fiddler of the Year - Miriam Brett from Bressay - takes a look back at the festival and also provides a glimpse into what it feels like to perform at the event.
