Vunk Ventures, in collaboration with the Pier Head Bar and 'alternative' Shetland musicians, will hold their first audio/visual exhibition on the 15th of March from 12:30pm to 6pm at the Pier Head in Voe.

The exhibition is a juxtaposition of Shetland's alternative musicians who perform original material set against landscape imagery of the environments that inspire the music they create.

Vunk Ventures is a group of music enthusiasts who aim to help and promote bands. Their services include promoting gigs, professional quality band and product photography, assistance with funding and sponsorship and van hire for touring.

Vunk Ventures hope that "Displaying these works within a space which is more accustomed to hosting these musicians playing [will] open another environment that can integrate the mediums and accessibility for both art lovers and music fans. Through this exhibition Vunk hope to inspire the thought that although these are not traditional genres the creativity is still very much of Shetland."
