The full musical line up making up the bill at the 'Shetland Night' during this years Celtic Connections Festival has just been announced.

Aly Bain and Violet Tulloch, Fiddlers Bid, Rock Salt and Nails, Filska, Cullivoe Fiddlers, Jim Halcrow's Dance Band, Ryan Couper, Brian Gear (again with Violet Tulloch) and Hom Bru, add up to a stellar bill of top Shetland artistsappearing in the Main Auditorium of Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on Saturday the 19th January.

Davie Gardner, one of the organisers of the concert said "The 'Shetland Night' concert represents a fantastic opportunity to profile many of the great artists who hail from Shetland, most of whom are already internationally established names. I can't recall seeing these names together on one bill before, so it promises to be a very special night indeed".

World renowned guitarist Martin Taylor will also take part in the concert - delivering a special tribute to the late, great Shetland guitarist 'Peerie' Willie Johnson.
