A 'Hamefarin' (an event where ex-pat Shetlanders and their relatives are invited to return en-masse to the islands at a specific time) has been set for a two week period in June 2010 Such events attract many Shetlanders back to the islands and inevitably they feature a whole host of music and culture related events. Although planning for the event has already started, nothing specific has yet been announced, but watch this space for details as and when they are announced.
