One of Shetland's most acclaimed musicians, fiddler Catriona Macdonald, got married in her home islands on Friday 9th February Catriona married Gordie Campbell, originally from Cape Breton, in the small village of Aith on Shetland's westside, an area where she has strong family ties. The wedding, a two night event in keeping with Shetland tradition, was attended by a whole host of the couples family and friends including many of their musical aquaintences. Shetland Arts wish to congratulate Catriona and Gordie on their marriage and pass on their very best wishes for their future.
