Highly popular Shetland singer / songwriter Eddie Barclay had recently released his latest album 'Hamely Gadderin' on local label Bleatbeat Records. On it Eddie has once again produced another highly eclectic mix of Shetland, folk and country tunes. The songs, as the album title suggests, were recorded as they would be played, 'in aboot da fire'. He is joined on the album by his daughter Maria and son Edward, along with Eunice Henderson, Gareth Crichton and Norma Hughson. Without a doubt, this is the best Eddie album so far, so here's an opportunity for you to join him at his own personal fireside for a few songs and, almost inevitably, a few smiles along the way.
